welcome.
I don't like blank spaces so I have to post something in my new blog!
I really don't have anything weighty to discuss as it pertains to the world of LEGO right now. Unlike some of my fellow compadres, I don't have a great debate to start up or anything like that.
I did order the new Holiday Train yesterday from S@H. We want to use it for an upcoming holiday-themed show, but none of us own it yet. I felt it was a great excuse to finally pick it up! I, of course, bought the version with the track, motor, regulator, etc. I might as well get all of the useful items, too! Besides, it shows TLC that us train people really want more trains if we continue to buy them.
I also bought a few of the new Designer Mosaic sets that include clear baseplates. I am really excited about receiving those!! I am in the midst of building a new city park and I think those baseplates could come in handy for the fountain I am working on.
That's about it for now! I'll keep everyone posted. It is nice having an actual LEGO blog!! I usually post my LEGO-related babble in my LiveJournal, which tends to bore my friends there to tears.
I have been an avid AFOL since my husband, Billy, (re)introduced me to LEGO in 2003. We joined the Central Ohio LEGO Train Club in March 2005, which was where I was introduced to LEGO trains in a major way. Since joining COLTC, I haven't missed a single show that COLTC has done!! (Including BrickFest!) I now have "Dual Citizenship" in COLTC and IndyLUG. Billy and I are also owners of CincinnatiBricks.com, our BrickLink store!
